When did this grow in our backyard?

So the last warm weekend of this year, we borrowed Grandads four wheelers and decided to check out what was behind our house in the hills. We went up Israel canyon road. What a fun surprise! It was so incredibly beautiful. we had no idea this was right in our backyard. We went up to the towers and it looked over the entire lake and the valleys on both sides. (Utah valley, and Eagle Mountain) We had so much fun. Eva goes into a trans on the Vroom Vrooms (Four wheelers) and Jake sang me songs the whole way.

Just a few pics . . .

So here is just a few pictures of some of the adventures we had this summer. . . Most of the swimmin' we did this year was in the sprinklers. Finally the last few weeks before school started we went almost every other day. We discovered the Lindon Aquatics center, which was completely amazing, we swam with Aunt Janie up at her apartment pool, and splashed around at some fun water parks here in the valley.

My Mom and Dad finally full filled their dream and got themselves a trailer. We got all the benefits of taggn' along for some fun fishing and camp outs.

This was a little bit of a scare, but we pulled through and Eva is defiantly a little trooper. I am so thankful for her everyday and that she is healthy and happy!

New Discovery!

So I just figured out how to do picture collages on my Picasa program. I thought since I am so behind on blogging, what a great way to update you all on our hectic summer. So I am working on them and you will soon be privileged to enjoy our summer also. Loves and Hugs to all and hopefully the school year is bringing some peace to your homes :)

Blanding trip!

What a beautiful weekend in Blanding. It was a great way to celebrate my sweet Grandma! We ate allot, went on a few hike and mostly enjoyed our family. I love Blanding, the red rock, the fresh air with a slight smell of Unlce Palmer's and Aunt Nadia's delicious cooking, telling stories, and amazing gardens. I hope my kids can always feel at home like I do down there and we can still visit often.

In memory of Ardell Palmer Black Ostergaard.

Some of Grandma's favorite things.

It was amazing to see most of our family all together!

My Sweet Aunt Nadia who moved in with my Grandma and spoiled her sweetly.

Cute huggin cousins!

My mom's brother's also came.

My beautiful Grandma in her young mommy days.

The most amazing woman in the world has gone to look after us from the other side. To her it was a long time waiting. She was a few months short of ninety eight wonderful years. She taught, entertained and loved us all 98 years also. Her amazing children (including my dad) put together a funeral she would defiantly approve of. It was full of flowers, hug kisses and great food, even with a rain shower. This woman was someone I will always try to live up too and teach my children of her amazing example. She loved her Heavenly Father, life, her family, and people she didn't even know. I find myself trying to do everything that she could approve of. Thank you Grandma for the motivation to be better and loving me the way you did, with a hundred kisses or more! I already miss you so much, but I am so grateful to know I will be with you again.

It's all over.

Jake had his last soccer game the other day. It is so amazing what they learn from the time they start and when they are done. He did make a couple of goals and he learned allot about non contact soccer. We worked hard and I am so proud of him!

I love the coaches face in this picture! Real's mascot came and visited the kids at one of their games.

Graduation Day!

The Walk
Jake had everything memorized in the program, even his friends parts. He has come so far this school year. Made great friends, learned to read, the pledge of allegiance, and most of all, we don't kiss girls until we are married! Both of us are nervous and excited for Kindergarten next year.
