Rock Boys Baseball

On Monday nights for the past couple of months, we so enjoy going to B's Baseball games. They always play really well and look dang good doing it. This last game, Brent made an amazing hit getting two guys home and him to third. Luckily enough, I got a picture just before that hit! We are so proud of our guys and we love the entertainment they provide. Go Rock Boys!

Grandma Great's 96th birthday!

We had so much fun in Blanding this last weekend. We took Dad down to drop him off and spend Grandma's 96Th birthday with her. We ate very well, thanks to Uncle Palmer and sweet Aunt Nadia. I think the baby and I both gained 3 lbs. Jake played with his Grandad and his cute cousins, Hunter and Stephen. He begged to see Grandma-great every morning when he woke up. We enjoyed being around all the aunts and uncles and especially our Grandma. Jake especially enjoyed all the teasing he got from his uncles. We left on Monday to come home. Unfortunately Grandad slipped on Wednesday, he injured the leg which he just had a hip replacement and broke his femur. My sweet uncles transported him up to Utah Valley hospital that night. He is back in the hospital and is getting a new hip replacement. We are sad about how it all ended but we are always thankful for the times we get to go to Blanding and visit our loved ones!

It's Jakes baby sister!

We had our ultrasound today, and everything looks great! It's a Girl!
  • Dads reaction: "What?"
  • Moms reaction: "giggle, giggle"
  • Jake's reaction: He said nothing, just looked at us all really annoyed, because he kept telling us all this time it was a sister.

He was so excited to see her on the ultrasound video. He spotted out her hands and legs. Where did this smart kid come from?

Jake started school this last month. He loves it and especially his new teacher. He comes home with amazing worksheets and artwork every day. I keep thinking that his teacher is doing it, but I have a bias opinion on that. This picture was on his first day of school.

This year we went to Deadwood Reservoir in Idaho. It took us maybe two days to get there but we had a great fun! Jake spent most of his time hunting frogs, making friends, playing with dad and hitting things with sticks. He even tried to get up on the water skis. We shouldn't have let dad drive while Jake was on the skis. I think he was more nervous than Jake was. Brent played like a little kid non stop. It was so good to see him do something other than work. What a guy! I made an attempt to start a book, and failed miserably. We had a blast and all came home stinking good like camp fire!
