My Miracles

How can people say they don't believe in miracles. My miracles happen everyday. Everyday I wake up to these amazing miracles. And on top of that I look outside and see that we live in amazing place filled with amazing people. I am so grateful for my husband, kids, family, friends, health, life, home, and to a member of an amazing church. I know, a lot of "amazing" miracles!

Grandma Great's Blanket!

Great Grandma Ardell sent this blanket to Eva. She is so amazingly talented and made this by hand. I cuddled Eva up in it the other day, put on her Blanding bracelet and took pictures. She is so much fun!

Cabin Fever

I know what your thinking, we all have it right? No, I would like to vent for a minute. Try being a mom with a newborn and having extreme paranoia of RSV. We don't go anywhere and don't get out at all. You can only play Lego's for so long then watch your son and husband play Lego's for so long. Please, please spring come soon. I need to go on a hike, or just even a walk. Maybe I'll just stick my head out the window while I drive until it gets to cold. Oh ya, I have a newborn in the back, she'll get cold, not to mention that might cause reckless driving. (Or RSV) Okay I won't do that. Please come soon warm weather!!! I'm going nuts!

Five Years?

Diving off of Kauai

Helicopter tour of the island of Kauai

So for our Anniversary this year we decided to do something different. We didn't forget it like we did last year. I cried for a whole day when I realized we had both forgot. This year we went out to a yummy dinner at our favorite place, Texas Roadhouse. (I know, not the most romantic place, but we have been craving it and there is not much else you can do when you have to get back quickly to a newborn) Next year we are hoping to go back to were we got married, Kauai. What an amazing five years! I have learned so much from my sweetheart and look forward to more adventures with him. I love you B!

Aunt Emily, Janie, and Kelly

#4 Birthday cake

Jake's cute Cousins

Aunt Tell and Captain Jake

Grandma Stoddard

Yes, Jake is still obsessed with Pirates. On Saturday we had a Pirate Pizza making partyfor his big 4. I can't beleive he is four already. I have truly learned to try and enjoy every second, it goes so fast! We had so much fun! The kids made their very own pizzas, had swords fights and went on one amazing treasure hunt thanks to Jake's silly Aunts. (thanks for your help girls!) It was crazy and a whole lot of fun. What a spoiled kid. Happy Birthday, we love you Jake!!!

My Betty Crocker Moment

I thought it might be fun to make homemade goodies for valentines gifts. I didn't really get to it until Sunday though. Nobody really noticed though. I was so excited, because they actually turned out! I think it gave Brent hope for our future to know that his wife may be able to cook after all. I made him a apple pie (thanks to a lesson from Sis Ellis in YW). I also made some cinnibun cinnamon rolls. Dang good recipe if anyone wants it.
