Jinxed!

Jake I swear is jinxed. He gets terribly sick every year on his birthday. One year it was strep and this year he came home with the tummy flu. It was so sad, because all day he had been working so hard to earn his dinner at Pirate Island with the family. We were just lucky we did all the family birthday things the weekend before. His cute friend cheered him up and brought him an awesome skateboard! And he did get his dinner at Pirate Island last night with us. Talk about one busy week! My highlight of it all was making him a book of all his Lego magazines. I have never seen a kid more grateful for a present! He was so sweet about it and that is one gift he and I both will always remember. I love my Jakey.

Our Little Buddy

My sweet amazing little boy is turning six! I can't believe in that little of time the incredible lessons he has taught me. Although sometimes it has been rough, I wouldn't trade any experience with him for anything. I love this kid! I am looking forward to everyday after this with him and what more of this world he can show me. It has been filled with pirate adventures, many explosions, and the worlds best hugs! He is such a great big brother, Eva is so lucky to have him as her protector and example. I thank God everyday for this great big spirit in our home.

Projects!

We all have been very busy with projects lately . . . .

Jake had a blast with his ice melting science project for school.

Brent tried to put together his knew office furniture together with allot of help. I was so proud of him for even buying it. He has been working on fold up tables as long as I have known him.

Eva has been busy learning how to multitask just like a real woman. She is dang good at it too.

And of course we have to fit our reading and snuggle time in there some where. It's our favorite part of the day!

Partying it up all week!

Heck with a birth- day we celebrate a birth- week! Eva had so much fun her birthday week she could hardly stand it. He started off with going to the circus with cousins. Eva loved, loved that. She even got her first taste of cotton candy, which she thought it was a tissue and tried to wipe her nose. On her big day we went "swim min". She was talking about it for two weeks prior, so she squealed with delight when we finally got there. She definitely got spoiled by everyone who loves her. We had family over for cake and ice cream and to view my first attempt at creating a two tier cake with fondant. Everyday is a joy with our little Eva bug. I always say and know, she is our little piece of heaven here on earth!

Temple Square and Riding that Tracks

So we went with my cute neices, my sister and Mom and Dad up to Temple Square. Mom instisted we ride te tracks, which was alot of fun. Except the guys on the train who kept talking about somthing "assasin". I thought they were weirdos and trying to scare us. Later my neice informed me that it was a video game. Halarious! We had a good laugh about that.

It's a Gonner!

Jake knocked his tooth loose when we rode the tracks to Salt Lake. It wasn't to loose but he surprised me when we got home and yanked it out himself. What a tuff kid!
