What a wonderful Mothers Day! Saturday we had a brunch at mom's and the boys worked on the yard. Sunday, my mother-in- law came in town and my amazing sister-in-laws came over and made us dinner and cleaned it up. (aren't they great!) Jake gave me the cutest picture he had made at school and Eva rolled over for the first time! It was great day!

Blanding!

So we finally made it to Blanding. We have been trying to go every weekend since Eva was born to get down to see my Grandma and we finally did it this last weekend. We had a wonderful time. We stopped in Moab on the way and found the Music park that I always attempt to find when we stop in Moab and always fail. So I was pretty excited. They have tonz of fun outdoor instruments, Jake loved it! We borrowed Dad's four wheeler so the boys could go play in the dirt while Eva and I hugged on Grandma Great.

This was the Grandma Eva was named after. She was so sweet to Grandma, talking and gooing at her. She got a hold of Grandma and wouldn't let go forever. Grandma was so cute and loved every minute of it. She showed her off to everyone who came to her room at the care center.

Jake and Dad's Haircut

Jake wasn't so thrilled with his haircut to begin with. He threw a huge fit for my cute friend Kim who cuts our hair. Brent got this cut also. We thought that might help the process for Jake if they went together. Still it was a nail biting experience. But he (and hopefully Kim) has recovered. The boys look great with their new hairdos!

Tip-toeing through the Tulips

Jake was very good at navigating. He loves maps and trying to figure out where everything is.

Eva was right at home looking as pretty as a flower.

This week we got to go to Thanksgiving Point with Grandma and Grandad. We had so much fun and the tulips were amazing! I was thankful it wasn't hot that day because Jake had to run down all the hills and would forget to come back, so of course, I would have to run after him. Great excersize to try to get the baby weight off! We also got alot of fun pictures.

I have always been so scared of the dentist. That's why I'm so thankful Aunt Emm was there to make it a good experience for Jake. My sweet sister-in-law is finishing up with dental hygiene school and did a check up on Jake. He did so good for his first dental experience, I'm so proud of him. Some bad news though, he has two cavities on his molars, so they'll have to be fixed. Dad might have to go with him to that appointment. I might just be to nervous that it will scare him. Thanks Emm for all you did!

FHE

So for Family Home Evening, we tried to fly the kite Jake got from the Easter Bunny. Some how we always end up braking those kites. So we attempted to fly the kite we got from Costco a while back. It was really cool, but the time we got it all together the wind stopped. Can you believe that. Out here when the wind always blows, it decides to stop when we want to fly our kite. So it was a great attempt anyhow and we had allot of fun! Eva loved being outside and we couldn't get Jake to come back inside. I can't wait until t is warm everyday.

We had such a fun Easter. Thank goodness I took pictures of the kids before church, because they were both done playing dress up by the time we got home from church. Jared, Laura ad their cute families came for dinner. Grandma surprised us and was home early from Blanding, so she also came over. I am so grateful for the Atonement and my life here on earth with my family. Knowing that we get to be together forever is the greatest and most precious blessing in my life!
