Black Family Campout

This weekend we went up to Currant Creek Resivor with the family. We had such an amazing time. It rained off and on the first couple of days, so we were lucky we rented a tent trailer. It made it especially nice to camp with a baby. It might be hard to go back to tent camping now though. Jake survived the whole weekend of having 12 moms and still had a good time. Grandad did rescue him a lot though. Grandad taught all the kids how to fish but Cera was the only one to catch one. She didn't even catch it on the hook though. She lassoed it somehow. We couldn't figure out how that happened. Way to go Cera! The kids had so much fun tie-dying, hugging on Grandma and Grandad, hiking, fishing, teasing uncles, four-wheeling, and going for rides on Uncle B's boat. We played so hard, we might need a vacation from our vacation:) We ate very well, and hugged all the kids to death. I am so thankful that we can have these beautiful mountains close by so we can enjoy and be with our loved ones. I can't wait for the next camp out!

Mud Puddles

We have been loving all the rain. The only downfall is pent up energy. We decided to go out and play in the puddles the other day. Jake loved it. So bring on the rain, we don't mind, now that we know of a way to wear out the kids.

It even wore Eva out pretty quick!

Eva in her party dress

My sweetheart, who still came to party, even though he was super sick. I love you babe!

My amazing Mom threw me a huge Luau for my birthday on Saturday. My whole fam was there. The rain couldn't stop the Black clan from having a blast. We BBQ burgers and dogs and mom decked out the whole garage in Hawaiian flavor. I got gifts of all my favorite things and was spoiled rotten. (You know I love it!) On top of it, many birthday wishes and visits from all my sweet friends. I love you all, and thanks for making my 27Th so much fun!

Happy Birthday B!

We went out for a hot date to (of course) Texas Roadhouse and went shopping for clothes (Brent's favorite thing to do). My cute sister-in-law, Emily, watched the kids and when we came home, we noticed somebody was messing with B's truck. It was my other cure sister-in-law, Kelly, cleaning out his truck for him. Needless to say, Brent was terribly spoiled for his birthday. To top it off Jake had bought him (with his own money) secret agent toys from the dollar store. We all had cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday. Brent's not to fond of birthdays, but we have to spoil him sometimes. He soooo deserves it!

Four Months Old Already?

My newborn is a baby now! She hit four months already. I dared to put pigtails in finally, and she looks so dang cute! Eva is such a happy and sweet baby. We love our Baby Eva Bug!

Cedar Fort

My Sweet Soldier Boy

Look out! Jake's gott a gun!

My cutest neices!

four, four year olds, cheesing it!

I wonder if he sat this still at real school?

My Uncle Roger and his family invited us all to go to a reenactment up in Cedar Fort. Mom and Dad cooked us an amazing breakfast, then we headed out. We had so much fun and learned a whole lot. We played old games, Jake shot a black powder gun, ate pickles on a stick, dressed up in old soldier uniforms, etc, etc. I asked the kids favorite part, and they said the old school house. They got to ring the old bell and we sat in the desks and played school. We all had such a blast. I'm so grateful for the soldiers and pioneers who did and sacrificed so much so we could be in better places and have all the conveniences we have today!
