SALMON

This last weekend we went up to Brent's home town of Salmon, Idaho. We love it up there and the family there too. We had so much fun taking the kids four- wheeling (Eva's first time). Brent of course had to try out some of his dad's toys while the us girls went shopping. Jake got a little spoiled by his Grandma, Grandpa fed Eva every chance he got (she is defiantly not starving) and we got to visit Brent's old friend, Stevie D. We had so much fun, and that's what I call a vacation!

Saturday was the Stoddard Family Reunion (AKA- the Chief's birthday). This is a four generation shot and some pictures of B and his cousin JP with their girls.

Oh ya, and I can't forget that we went boating up to Williams Lake. I love this lake, it reminds me of the lake in Parent Trap. It is surrounded with cute cabins that all have docks down to the lake. I tried boarding, and never thought these mommy legs would get me up, but to my surprise I was up the first try. I forgot how much I love to wake boarding. Jake even got in the water, well after I pulled him in. Aunt Tell (Brent's sister Kelly) came with us and was amazing on the board. She helped us out so much on this trip. Thank goodness for awesome sister-in-laws! We love you Kell!

I love going to Salmon, and fall more in love with it each time I go. Who knows, maybe I can talk the husband into letting me live there.

Visiting Blanding

My sweet Aunt Lela passed away this week, so we went to the cemetery to say goodbye. And Jake practiced his photography skills.

Behind Grandma's house

Eva playing in the grass

Jake had so much fun swimming with his cousins!

Eva had more chub in her cheeks than Grandma Great did for sure!

They were so cute in their sleep shirts

When I got home from Girls Camp, we decided to make an unexpected trip to Blanding to see our sweet Grandma Great. Jake got to go swimming with cousins and we had so much fun! Grandma wasn't feeling to good when we got there, but she was up and going again by the time we left. That women never stops amazing me! She was out eating hamburgers with her boys and enjoying every minute of it! I love my Grandma so much and it was so good to kiss and hug her.

Mom's night out!

Laura and I got tickets to a private party were Macy Gray was preforming. We had so much fun! There was tons of different food and the Salt Palace was all decked out! It was awesome! Needless to say, these mommies got a little crazy! We got up right next to the stage and had a blast!

Rodeo and Knites!?

My Mom and Dad's neighborhood puts on a rodeo every year. They invited us this year and of course the coolest thing we do all summer, I can't find my camera. We had so much fun. Jake and I participated in a wheel barrow obstacle course and much to my dismay they sprayed you down with water while you did it. Jake somehow talked me into it. Good thing he is cute! They had a medieval Knite jousting tournament. It was the neatest thing I ever saw! They were on huge horses with the whole armor and all. We were all amazed and Jake was defiantly entertained!

STADIUM OF FIRE!

Jake getting pumped up for the "Stadium of Fire!" We rock in' rolled in the mini van all the way to the stadium.

I took Jake out for his first concert to the stadium of fire. (Jonas Brothers) We have been waiting for the for a while. He was so cute and love the one on one attention from Mommy. He loved the Jets and especially loved his light up cup I bought him with my birthday money. He was actually a little obsessed with it. (but it made for some cool pictures).

We loved the firework display!

My cute nieces (Alex and Cera) danced in it and we had no way to find them. I think their there somewhere. (look close) We were lucky and found them and their mom and sister Kali afterwards. We hugged on them and Jake showed them an even more crazier side of him by running around the stadium hopped up on Root Beer and late night hours.

4Th OF JULY

Five AM I forced for sweet sleeping angels out of bed to go see the Balloon Fest in Provo. Brent wasn't so happy (as anyone who knows my husband he likes and needs his sleep). Eva slept through most of it, so she didn't mind. We had fun no matter. Grandma and Aunt Emm met up with us. Uncle Jared and his family were somewhere in the crowd. We stayed and watched the balloons as they played games and did obstacles. I had no idea you could so that with a balloon. I love this country and all the opportunities we have here and for our families and the times we can enjoy because of our freedom!

Ogden Dinosaur Park

Eva happy as always.

Checking out the huge trout in the stream at the park.

I love this picture!

Jake and I being scared of all the dinosaur noises.

In the museum

So we tagged along with Grandad the other day to Ogden to pick up a bed. I talked him into going to the Dinosaur Park. It was so cool! They had a museum, life size dinosaurs outdoors in a park that made noises, a activity center (which was so nice when we got to hot). We had so much fun and I defiantly recommend this place for anyone looking for fun stuff to do this summer!
